वो लंबी कद काठी,
वो तीखी नज़रो वाली,
वो घुंगराले बालो वाली,
वो मेरी माँ, मेरी मम्मी।

मेरा ख्याल रखने वाली,
मेरा ध्यान रखने वाली,
मेरा कान पकड़ने वालो,
वो मेरी माँ, मेरी मम्मी।

वो निस्वार्थ प्रेम करती,
वो सबके नखरे झेलती,
फिर भी वो कुछ न कहती,
वो मेरी माँ, मेरी मम्मी।

वो त्याग की मूरत,
वो ज्ञान की रौशनी,
वो शांति की पोटली,
वो मेरी माँ, मेरी मम्मी।

वो प्यार का झरना,
वो दया का सागर,
वो ममता की सुनामी,

मेरी बात एक सुनलो,
त्याग उनका मै समझती,

Rakhabandhan

Rakhi is a festival which is very very special for me and mostly for everyone in India. Every year i think of doing something different to make my brothers feel special.

I made rakhi with our photograph on it.

How I made it?

1. Selection of pictures

2. Cropping it in any shape.
(I used PhotoGrid app for this)

3. I bought
~ a rakhi with a very simple base. It was just a foam base with printed smiley on it.

~Sparkle foam(Any coloured paper can also be used)

~Some crystals(or anything for decoration)

5. Picture printing. I made a collage of cropped pictures.

6. Now cutting these pictures in respective shapes.

7. Cutting sparkle foam in a circle and pasting it on the rakhi. The size of this circle should be equal to one on rakhi.

8. Sticking the picture in center using glue.

9. Decorating the sides with crystals.

10. Tieing the knot of love, care and craziness.

The final outcome-

Ps- I am very less creative so decoration is simple. My only purpose was to make my brothers, bhabis, nephews and nieces feel loved and so I materialized this idea.

The Jungle Book

Wow!! What a masterpiece. Loved it. Beautiful it is.

I would recommend watching TJB to everyone not just because it is super entertaining, not just because it has the best animation I have ever seen, not just because of its amazing dialogues but for the beautiful storyline. A truly inspiring, yet entertaining movie.

Simple and Delicious Dryfruit Cake

Dryfruit cake~

In a bowl sieve 140 grams all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Add coarsly chopped dryfruits(cashew, almonds, raisins, pistachios and tuti fruti).

In another bowl mix 120 grams of melted butter with 200 grams of condensed milk and whisk it for 10 minutes.

Add the maida mixture to the butter mixture and whisk for some time. Lastly add some vanilla essence.

To make the mixture to a flowing consistency, add some milk(80ml)

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.

In a greesed can, pour the batter. Garnish with dryfruits.

Bake it for 40 minutes and enjoy.
